Nominating Letters for the Grand Marshal and Honorary Grand Marshals must be received by the UIS by September 15.2026. Nominations will NOT be accepted from the floor at the meeting. Please send letters to the above address.

The Grand Marshal category is for a living person who shows leadership in promoting Irish culture and social affairs, and exemplifies the Irish Tradition of Stewardship in public and private enterprise. The Honorary Grand Marshal category is reserved for deceased persons who took leadership roles in promoting Irish culture and social affairs during their lives.
